Signed "Rich Myers 1978" with an edition number of 5/88, this piece showcases the talent of award-winning sculptor Richard Myer. His passion for creating 3-dimensional art began in his youth, leading him to earn a B.F.A. from Brigham Young University. He continued his studies at the Art Students League and the Sculpture Center in New York City before moving to California in 1970 to pursue a full-time career in sculpture.

Myer has worked on notable commissions, including bronze works for the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Disney, and John Wayne’s bronze grave marker. He was also commissioned to sculpt three large bronze figures for a memorial park in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Among his other significant works is an 8-ft sculpture of Frank Miller, the founder of the Mission Inn in Riverside, CA, and a 2005 monument featuring four bronze figures for the L.A. Sheriff's Department in San Dimas, CA. In 2007, he completed an 11-ft statue of Andres Duarte, installed in an outdoor park in Duarte, CA.
